In May 2012, we launched Global Food Forums®, Inc. with an abundance of entrepreneurial energy…and a dash of apprehension.
Our vision was to develop a family of in-person, product development conferences for the food, beverage and nutritional products market. Each event was to be tied to a significant long-term, global, consumer and industry trend where applied food science plays a key role.
Today, we continue to believe applied, useful food science is the keystone of our business. However, changes in the food industry, digital technologies and world events have brought changes to our company as well. In the past, our events’ programs and associated publications provided R&D and other food scientists with practical and impartial information. In 2020, we expanded our information platforms to include webinars, videos, other online events and a new state-of the art website.
Food scientists are our core customers. Our decisions are driven by how our actions impact the R&D attendee community. By delivering a high-quality event that draws a high ratio of R&D attendees, the interests of the supplier community are also best served.
Global Food Forums’ continues to offer product developers and others in the industry information in three areas: clean labels, food protein ingredients and sugar reduction. Each of these themes now has its own website. We invite you to explore the free articles, post-conference magazines and other downloadable documents as well as the presentations found in the R&D Academy section.
We hope you’ll attend one of our future in-person events. Please say “Hi!” In the meantime, we invite you to investigate our product development offerings.
