Tukwila, WA, November 14, 2023 — CuliNEX, the country’s top clean label and plant-based food development and formulation provider, welcomes Nicholas Roundy to the team as a Project Manager, deepening the service capabilities for clients with his extensive culinary and product development work in addition to project management experience.

Prior to CuliNEX, Roundy held roles as a chef, food product developer, and project manager. His development experience includes concept creation, development, and commercialization for licensed products like Hershey, Weight Watchers, Pioneer Woman and Godiva. He worked for companies including Kraft/Heinz in beverages, shelf stable desserts, frozen sauces, meats, and snacks, in addition to other categories. Roundy’s project management experience spans innovation, sustainable packaging, portfolio management, cost savings initiatives and more.

Roundy will make a great addition to the CuliNEX team due to his shared passion for food, “I was interested in food at a young age, learning my grandfather’s Polish recipes and grandma’s holiday desserts was the beginning of my food journey.” He also shares CuliNEX’ quest for innovation, “I enjoy the marrying of culinary and food technology minds in the innovation process at CuliNEX and look forward to helping our clients launch and optimize their food products with us.”

Roundy attended Johnson & Wales University for his Associate Degrees in Culinary Arts, Bakery, and Pastry Arts. While there, he also earned his Bachelor of Science in Culinary Nutrition and attended DePaul University for his MBA in Business Strategy. This education afforded him the foundation to develop his culinary, development and project management skills.
