Raj Narasimmon, Ph.D., MBA, Founder and President,

Raj Narasimmon PhotoRaj Narasimmon, Ph.D., MBA, is founder and President of NARASIMMON CONSULTING LLC. He also is a member of Global Food Forums’ Advisory Panel. Known for his technical and management skills, he collaborates with producers and users of dairy products and ingredients to generate solutions in the areas of new products, quality improvement and food safety. Having spent his entire career in Research and Development (R&D) and Quality, he brings a unique perspective to each engagement and provides effective, sustainable and integrative solutions.

A seasoned Food Industry professional with more than 30 years of experience as a research scientist in both product innovation and quality systems management, Narasimmon quickly sees the big picture and is adept in solving technical and managerial problems.

His prior experience includes leadership of the R&D group at Schreiber Foods which excelled in the areas of new product development, process optimization and quality improvement. He was also Vice President of Product Research at Dairy Management Inc. and a Principal Research Scientist at The Schwan Food Company. He has a great deal of experience in dealing with major customers, suppliers and internal functional areas such as sales/marketing, manufacturing and purchasing.

Narasimmon has an MSc in Agriculture from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University; a Ph.D. in Food Science from Utah State University; an MBA in General Management from the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh; and an MS in Computer Information Systems from Florida Institute of Technology. He is a member of the American Dairy Science Association and the Institute of Food Technologists.

Narasimmon has moderated a number of sessions at Global Food Forums events including the annual Protein Trends & Technologies Seminars, Clean Label Conferences and Sweetener Systems Conferences.
