Mindy Hermann is a US-based consultant analyst and communications specialist for Innova Market Insights. She has developed a new macro trends report series for Innova’s growing suite of client products and she speaks to professional groups and conferences about Innova’s market research and its implications. With its core values of insight, support, independence, quality and speed, Innova provides food and drink product intelligence and knowledge solutions to clients around the world.

Mindy is an accomplished writer and editor for consumer, industry, health and medical media. She is a frequent contributor of articles for trade, professional and consumer publications. A co-author for a dozen books, Mindy’s work has appeared on the New York Times Bestseller List and was recognized with a James Beard Cookbook Award.

Ms. Hermann also is a specialist in food and nutrition product and service communications. Her work includes writing consumer brochures, developing web content, drafting whitepapers, analyzing and interpreting market research, formulating communications strategies, and advising clients on nutrition communications.

Ms. Hermann began her career as a Clinical Diet/Nutrition Specialist at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. She earned a bachelor’s degree from UCLA and an MBA in marketing from New York University. She is a registered dietitian nutritionist and member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Food and Culinary Professionals and the New York Women’s Culinary Alliance. Mindy is on the Academy’s Committee for Lifelong Learning and served as a spokesperson for the New York State and American Dietetic Associations.
