Ben Jeckel, Managing Director, Dairy Consultancy and Market Intelligence, Blimling and Associates

Ben Jeckel head shotBen Jeckel is Managing Director, Dairy Consultancy and Intelligence for Blimling and Associates. In his role, he provides tailored market insights to clients at all levels of the dairy supply chain. His global market research and pricing analysis is largely focused on dairy ingredients, with special emphasis on milk and whey proteins. Ben authors a bi-monthly publication titled Ingredient Digest which provides a market situation update and outlook for the skim and whey complex. His project consulting experience crosses a wide spectrum, ranging from plant feasibility studies and product cost models to ingredient procurement strategies and industry M&A.

Prior to Blimling, Ben spent 10 years with Abbott Laboratories with the majority of his time in the company’s Infant and Adult Nutrition business performing dairy procurement, commodity research and financial planning functions. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he focused on Finance. He has an MBA from Marquette University.
